Sugar free cookies
Okay guys……. I lied, I didn’t bake anything new this week, so we’re back with an old but still delicious recipe.
Actually, I cooked a green cake from a mix I got in an Asian grocery, and it was a disaster. There were 7 eggs in the recipe, and the cake chose to bi-phased, so there was a really nice section on top and a very eggy and jelly-like part underneath. I’ll spare you the image (or maybe not, check underneath today’s recipe 😉 ). I also prepared brownies, but the recipe is already available on the website. So this week I wanted to offer a cookie recipe that I used to make while I was on my sugar-free diet for a month hehe.
This recipe appeals to me since the raisins and apple sauce provide a sweet flavor without the use of refined sugar. They are soft and have a strong chocolate flavor that is complemented by the apple sauce, which is delicious.
They’re the ideal food for binge-watching a TV show on a rainy and gloomy Saturday afternoon in the Netherlands, which happens pretty frequently.
See you next week for a more Christmas-themed recipe.
